Friends -

For those who celebrate Passover - chag same’ach, and if you celebrate Easter - wishing you a happy Easter.

With this season of renewal comes a reminder of the power of people to persist, endure and thrive when we work together.

It also reinforces the importance of the work of those who assist us in moments of need. County governments across NC provide crucial services, including housing, health and safety services for our residents.

Let's give thanks to all our hard-working first responders, including Emergency Services.

Last week, Orange County celebrated the dedicated Emergency Services professionals who dispatch 911 calls and deliver care.

In 2024, Orange County Emergency Services took nearly 91,000 911 calls, transported over 11,000 people to the hospital and had 45 Cardiac Arrest Saves.
